[Non]Easter Dinner at Our House

No ham, but it is pork on the skewers. Along with onion, zucchini, and red, orange, and yellow peppers. All done on our tiny little old grill.

The deviled eggs are my real concession to the date; when I was a kid, we always had them at Easter. Of course, those were nothing but [commercial] eggs with the yolks mashed with Miracle Whip; the really fancy version had a little ancient paprika sprinkled on top. Mine are from our own chickens' eggs, with mayo (you will not find Miracle Whip in this house), sea salt, cracked black pepper, a pinch of dried mustard, and dried chives and dill.

Dinner was a hit. Leftovers tomorrow.
