Just dropped by Wings: two new complementary pieces.

Well, this was unexpected. He's had them mostly done for a few days, but was waiting for a particular type of new crimper before adding the findings; it arrived, and now they're here. Now at NDN Silver, and just dropped by Wings:  two new complementary pieces.

The first is shown above; it's called Desert's Sky, and it's . . . well, perfect for this place, and this season, too. I love the contrast of the colors, and the beads have the feel of prayer beads — the kind you want to touch, because the texture is comforting, but at the same time, you want to leave them their own space. The earrings, again, coordinate but don't match perfectly in how they're combined. These are called Heaven's Earth, and they're made from the same Skystone/sandstone combo (okay, so it's technically picture jasper, but it looks and half-feels like sandstone). Their description is here
