A new vintage-style, heavy-gauge cuff by Wings.

I promised a new work for today, and here it is: a new vintage-style, heavy-gauge cuff by Wings. It's made with really heavy, solid sterling silver triangle wire, with thirty-two freehand scoremarks meeting to wrap around the two upper sides of the band, all wrought freehand with a single chisel. The same stamp was used to create the linked Eyes of Spirit on the sides of the bands at the ends:

All of this is old-style work, all freehand, all using the most basic tools, the filing and texturizing are all freehand, too, with a little stampwork in the inner band. But the real power of this piece is in that top scorework, rays and lines leaning inward around a central lodge, giving the piece its name: A Lodge of Shadows and Light. It's substantial without being heavy, and it radiates power. You do want to click through and see the other photos, too. You can read the full description here.

And we desperately need to make sales. We have two four-figure payments due this week and next to the tax man (one on this year's payment plan plus next year's 2nd-quarter prepayment) over the next two weeks, and we paid out $550 in cash for my new paint therapy treatment on June 1. Selling this would help a lot, as would additional sales from our current inventory (and there are lots of new pieces). Wings's main page is here. Inquiries via the site's Contact form. And shares of the site links are much appreciated.
