An unexpected surprise: an all-new work by Wings.

Tonight I have an unexpected surprise: an all-new work by Wings. He had this in process yesterday, and I knew that he had made major progress on it today, but I had not anticipated that he would finish it yet today. Nevertheless, it's complete, and it is extraordinary.

It's called Where Dwells the Water, and the Light, and it's another in his ongoing series of slender, heavy-gauge sterling silver cuffs, this one with an intensely blue oval of cobalt-hued lapis lazuli bezel-set and elevated minutely above the band. The band itself is a masterwork, a repeating pattern of four lodges pointing inward toward each other chased down ever millimeter of its entire convex outer surface, with more freehand stampwork on the slender edges and inner bands. You can read its full description here, and you really do want to click through and scroll down to see it from all angles.

Wings's main page is here. Inquiries via the site's Contact formWe badly need to make consistent sales to make it through this third year of pandemic and loss (and a spectacularly costly couple of months, with much more to come), so shares of the site links are much appreciated.
