The Animating Spirit of the Flames

Now posted at The NDN Silver Blog, it's a work to revive the glow of wildfire nights to warm the dark days of early winter. It's a meditation, too, on the urgent truth that the fire that matters now is not the one in the woodstove, nor the bonfires of the winter holidays, but the animating spirit of the flames that we stoke in our hearts and spirits, the one that keeps us at the work of rebuilding a world and saving lives.
