"Winter Storm Warning"

This is #4  — or is it #5? I've lost track — in just over a week. The Old Man loves it; he's finally getting a dusting on his craggy face.

We hit somewhere around 50 today, meaning I was working outside in jeans and a thermal shirt with no winter gear except boots. Walking outside makes me feel like a little kid again; it requires high-stepping, because of snow up to my knees. Wings spent the day on snow removal, to avoid an unnavigable mess before the next real storm hits tomorrow night.

And I was going to have a very lengthy, very substantive post related to certain recent events, one I've been working on for almost a week now. But edits remain to be done, and I accidentally sliced open the index finger of my left hand. Rather badly, actually. No, it doesn't need stitches; it's situated in a way that that wouldn't work. So it's packed with traditional medicine, bound tightly, and covered. And typing is a pain in the ass, despite the fact that I'm right-handed.

So, posting tomorrow at the earliest, depending on how well the old medicine works on this particular type of cut placed where it is. Gah.
