A Visit From the Post-Easter Bunny

Meet Junior. He and his twin ventured out in broad daylight.

They're barely adolescents, and not nearly afraid enough of the big bad world.

They and the chickens seem to be comfortable sharing boundaries (they and the horses, too, and by "they," I mean both chickens and rabbits). With the puppies, notsomuch, but the dogs know that we expect them to leave the cottontails alone. The hawks don't bother them, either.

So they come out now to find edible things in the grass — and occasionally pose for me.

Late Easter present.

  1. :-)

Looks tiny, much like our local wild rabbits (who may or may not be native) when they are babies. This age is when I most worry about them.
