Now posted at The NDN Silver Blog, it's the introductory entry in our new Tuesday series on Indigenous Arts. As I hinted last week, today's post has to do with Wings's work — specifically, with matters of process and technique of a very particular sort. This is one of my favorite styles; I have a number of Wings's pieces wrought in this fashion. It's also a great metaphor for our people.
The post is here. Wings's main page is here. Only two of the works shown in the post remain available for purchase, although he can also create a unique version of any of the others; simply inquire via the site's Contact form. And, as always, sales are much needed (especially now, having paid Cree's current vet bill today), so shares of the site links are much appreciated.
