Now posted at The NDN Silver Blog, it's a photo meditation for this final day of February, a quadrennial gift, and for the unsettled hybrid season in which it arrives. It's an image of hope, a harbinger of gifts to come, but seeing it requires adapting the angle of our view.

Yay, both boxes track as 'delivered' as of about 2pm today, so presumably they both made it without anything breaking and leaking :) I seem to have a lot better luck with them when I ship them with insurance.
ReplyDeleteHeh - notsomuch. The one box was intact, but the other - uh-uh. the jar of walnuts broke and leaked sticky syrup all over everything, including the stones. LOL - I think the postmaster was a little pissed at us. At any rate, we got it all cleaned up, and salvaged everything but that (and some of the packaging of the crackers and sardines; the inner packaging was fine, but the outer boxes were a mess. It think that glass stuff just has to go in bubble-wrap. but yes, it's all here, and everything else survived the trip just fine, so thank you!
