Friday Feature: A Warming Light and the Promise of Summer

It's our Friday Feature at The NDN Silver Blog, and today, we resume our look at the pottery of Camille Bernal with an iconic design that seems to embody the light. It's her Art Deco-style vase wrought in the shape of a traditional olla, in warm welcoming shades and a sensuous shape.

  1. Just an update on Onyx - they got the panel back, and she tested positive for clostridia, presumably perfringens rather than difficile, which is more common in humans. She's been mostly holding her own, but losing ground slowly at our vet, since she still isn't eating, and she tears out her IV at night when no one is there, so we're moving her tonight to a 24/7 vet hospital ICU, and hoping that they'll be able to get her back on track within a few more days.

  2. Second update - whatever you burnt down there is working. Onyx had a really good day, so we're holding off on the vet hospital, they'll just tape off her iv, and she'll spend the night at home, then, depending on how the night goes, she'll either spend the day there again on fluids or get the IV out tomorrow.

    1. YAY!!! LOL - we're burning cedar for her, both of us, two days running. Fingers crossed that everything works for her tonight; we'll keep at it until she's out of the woods.
