A riddle wrapped in a mystery . . . nah, an egg inside an egg.

Yes, that's what it looks like: one egg encased inside another. And the outer shell was an egg, too, not just a second shell — yolk all over the place when it broke.

Sometimes, you open something, you get a surprise.

The last two weeks have been a lot of surprises.

Now comes the hard part.

We have to break some more eggs to make everything. Translated, we have to break the bank to build the house. The next stage is bearing down on us fast (as in Tuesday), and we need to close out this stage of the fundraiser so I can launch the next phase.

Goal:  $2K in 24 hours.

Given what we've raised, and what we've gotten done with it, thus far, $2K in a day should be doable. But that takes getting the link in front of as many eyes as possible. All we need is 100 people giving $20 apiece to make it.

So please go to our YouCaring page and share the link via the widgets there. On the lower right-hand side of the page is a purple box that says "Grab our widget"; click on it and it'll give you the code that, when posted, produces this image:

Please spread it around to everyone you can think of who might be inclined to kick in a buck or two. Many thanks to everyone for your help thus far; I'm hoping to cadge a couple of hours tomorrow to spend on more formal thank-yous, but I'm being pulled in a dozen different directions at once right now.
