Sometimes, there’s simply choice. I can’t do it on my own, and yet no one can do it for me. And it has to be done.

So for now, at least, I take my cues from the red-tailed hawk who shares space with us, who comes and goes as though she owns the place because she does, who is utterly confident in center and self and in the power of her own spirit wings.

Tomorrow, I leap.
