This week's goal: $2K

Everything will be late today. It's been hoppin' here since shortly after 7 AM, when the gravel truck showed up with the final load of fill. The crew is out there now raking and tamping. They'll be here a little before 7 tomorrow for the pouring of the slab, trying to beat the heat and the rain. [Oh, yes, it's hotter than hell out there right now, but we're under a flash flood watch for the next three days.] I don't even know how long they'll be able to work today.

About 2 grand out the door today and tomorrow. More than 2 grand out the door on Wednesday for the adobes. I think I need to telescope this week's mini-goal a bit: I was hoping to hit the 20% mark by week's end (which would be $4,000 overall for this stage, or another $1K between now and then); but I don't think that's gonna do it. There's still labor to figure into the mix (and all the ordinary expenses, including things like She-Wolf's diabetic dog food). I think I need to shoot for the 25% mark for this stage, which would mean raising $2K this week.
