Torchdown in T-37 hours; next mini-goal ready to launch. Shares needed.

Yes, everything is late tonight. Yes, today was supposed to be the day I got a little bit caught up. No, that didn't happen. Part of it is complicated by the fact that I fell yesterday, but mostly, it's just the sheer volume of work to be done (although the fact that I'm now moving more slowly doesn't help, obviously). So much has to be back-burnered during the week while the crew is working, because we're constantly interrupted, and so we spend our weekends running every bit as much as we do during the week.

I'm not going to dig around for new photos tonight, either. But the upshot is this: They begin the torchdown install on Monday. We know they're going to need to rent at least some equipment; we don't know yet what incidentals might arise. And we are going to need to close in all the windows and doors sooner rather than later. The forecast predicts rain for Tuesday, and while I'll believe it only when I see it, if it does happen, we'll be tarping everything and waiting it out. We've been blessed by this weather (which is actually rather horrifying, given that it's a direct result of climate change, but for now, it's helping us immeasurably), but it can't last.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to put aside between $2K and $3K over the next week or so, just to give us some breathing room on whatever comes up this week, and give us a running start on the glass. Which means that we need daily shares of our YouCaring page via the widgets it provides, especially the widget code from the box at lower right that gives you the image shown above.

It also means that we need daily shares of Wings's Web site. Testimonials help, too. And folks contemplating holiday commissions need to contact me now, so that he can get yours into the queue on his workbench; the holidays will be here a lot sooner than we all think.

Many thanks to everyone who has given us a hand thus far. We're getting ready to launch the next major mini-goal in this compound stage, and we're profoundly grateful for whatever help you can give us in the process.
