Up against it now. We need an all-out push on shares.

That's José capping the west parapet with metal lath. It was Wings who climbed up there and got photos; I've had too many falls in recent months for me even to think about going up on the roof.

The guys were all back at work today, despite everyone either being sick or recovering from it. Wings has it, too. I'm trying to ward it off before it settles in too thoroughly. But we're all up against it now. Now, we not only racing the weather, but the fallout from last night's catastrophic results. In one sense, things haven't changed all that much — this is, after all, exactly who and what this country has always been — but we did have a relatively brief period where some things became, shall we say, unfashionable. That's all over. We are at genuine risk now, and so are our loved ones, and we have to be prepared for what might be euphemistically termed Very Bad Things.

We're already planning. But this means that it's even more urgent to get the house completed before year's end. And tomorrow, we'll be writing a very, very big check as a deposit on the glass. Delivery will be 3-4 weeks out (the guy who owns the company estimates 3), at which point we'll have to write another enormous check. Yes, I mean "enormous" in both senses of the word.

We need an all-out push on shares between now and the  end of the year. We are getting closer, but there's still SO far to go, and we have to get this done in roughly the next six or seven weeks. With regard to time, our cushion is now gone. So please, PLEASE continue to share, on a daily basis, the link to our YouCaring page via the widgets on it. Please also share the widget code from lower right, which gives you this running tally:

Christmas is also only about six weeks away. If you're considering commissioning holiday gifts, Wings needs time for the creative process (and for shipping!), so please get hold of me now. Six weeks will go by in the proverbial blink. And please, please continue to share Wings's site on a daily basis, too. Testimonials are also helpful to us. It is this, after all, that not only pays the ordinary bills, puts food on the table, keeps the light and heat on, keeps the animals fed, but it also funds the construction of the house — to a significant degree.

Many thanks to everyone who has helped us get here. We have a long way to go, and last night's developments have just added huge time pressures to an already short timeframe in which to get these many last phases-in-one completed. I am, quite literally, begging you to help us get the rest of the way there by sharing the links.  Thanks.
