Bancos! And sealing the walls. And light switches. And the hay is in, and maybe some rain later.

Good progress today. Unfortunately, it came about, in part, as the result of someone else's misfortune: Sherm's boss on his excavation job gave the guys the day off, because today was the funeral for his wife's grandfather, so we're sending our condolences with Sherm back to them. For now, the day off gave them an extra day to work here, and that ::points below:: is the result:

Yes, our bancos — my beloved window seats — are done, save for the sealing. The guys took off for lunch, and are picking up the sealant while they're out, and they'll begin on the walls that have been fully dry for some time now. Once they start sealing the walls, I'll grab some shots of that, too.

Victor came with his son to add the switches to the various outlets; he'll be back next week, after we've picked up at least some of the lighting fixtures, to do the installs.

The hay is in, and it looks like we might actually get some rain, so it's all good.

And now, back to work for me.
