It's the first Monday of fall, and the fourth day of our fall 20%-off sale, with a work by a master Comanche artist. Tim Saupitty created a pair of works of similar size and in similar style, one featuring a traditionally-dressed Comanche man, the other a woman. Wings has not been able to bring himself to part with the one of the male figure, but this one is not only for sale at 25% off, it's also marked down by $1,000, thanks to a small amount of water damage (a result of a leak in the ancient adobe walls of our old gallery after massive storms). This work was originally on offer for $2,500; it has since been marked down to $1,500, and between now and September 30th, it's 25% off: This ethereal painting filled with spirits large and small is only $1,125 (+ s/h/i). The artist, by the way, is coming to visit us in a few days, in the company of another Native artist friend who will be here for San G.
Today through the 30th only, we have this and a host of other high-end indigenous art all on offer at 25% off — drums, fetishes, pottery, even [non-Wings] jewelry and wall art. Check it all out via the menu bars here on our site, and score some beautiful Native gifts at a great price while you can. Inquiries here, or for those you on FB and Twitter, DM me there.
