Winter birds and water softeners; a little of one kind of rain but a deficit of the other. Sales/subscribers/shares all badly needed.

The new young scrub jay late yesterday afternoon; he's a few months early. You can't see his distinctive coloring because of the light; the sky really was that solidly gray yesterday evening. The air went completely still, and then we got a couple of hours' worth of slow, steady rain, a truly priceless gift right now. The trees are still turning fast, though.

Two more appointments for Wings this morning, all ending with a clean bill of health (as expected). Also a supply run into town, which mens robbing Peter to pay Paul constantly; yesterday's bills were already more than enough to set us way, way back. On top of that, the water heater is crapping out, so the plumber's coming out on Monday, and heaven knows what that will run. It's also time to refill the water softener solution, so I've tacked a multipack onto the top of the Amazon wishlist. We don't go through it very fast, but better to stock up at the bulk rate rather than pay through the nose for individual bottles.

All this, of course, means that we need to make some sales. Badly. We can't do this kind of outlay without juggling and shifting and otherwise delaying elsewhere. And none of that even begins to get at what I'm dealing with (and will be for a very, very long time yet). We managed to pay outright yesterday (because we had no choice), but this leves us seriously short. So please share the links, because we really need to bring in a lot more to make it through the rest of the season, forget the rest of the year:
That all I've got. My entire existence is focused around chasing sales to pay medical bills, and it's not going well.
