I hadn't expected to be able to show you this today, but Wings is rocking in the studio, and a major piece just dropped. [He's working on a couple more items, too.]
This is Medicine For the Earth, and it will take your breath away. It's been a while since he's done a dual-strand cuff (just about a year to the day, if memory serves), and this one is really unusual. First off, the band is made from twinned strands of half-round wire, and the hand-stamping on them is impossibly deep and even (you try stamping on a convex metal surface 3/16 of an inch wide, and see how well you do), fused at the ends and pulled apart by hand. That stone, though . . . that's from Wings's personal, private collection of turquoise, and it's old. [It may even be one of the cabs his late father gave him decades ago; he's had it so long, no one remembers.] It's natural American turquoise, uncalibrated, unbacked, and untreated. It resembles Royston and Fox in aspects, but other factors seem to rule them out; everything taken together, we believe it to be old Nevada Blue turquoise. On that basis, given the size of this cab, the price is a steal.
You can see other views of band and stone at the link. I need to let you know, though, that the band, although 6" long, fits a smaller wrist (yes, I tried it on, of course). And you can find his full inventory here at NDN Silver. Inquire/order via the Contact form here.
