As promised, all new at NDN Silver: an extraordinary new cuff in the shapes and shades of the First Medicine.
This just dropped today, and it's absolutely dazzling. The cuff is just wide enough, with radiant flowing water designs down either side, all the blank space between the stampwork and the edges filled textured entirely by hand with hundreds of individual strikes of the hammer. At the center sits an incredible oval cabochon more than an inch long and an inch wide, electric cobalt blue with shimmering pyrite throughout, elevated slightly above the band's surface. It's flanked on either side by a square Skystone, Sleeping Beauty turquoise in the blue of the desert sky, each with a freeform textured surface. It's called When the Water Comes (a name and a design with particular resonance here), and you can read the full description here.
Wings's full current inventory of traditional and contemporary Indigenous silverwork (and lots of other fabulous Native art) is here. Order/commission/inquire via the Contact form here.
