It's #ThrowbackThursday at The NDN Silver Blog, with a work from some eleven years ago that was part of one of Wings's small sometime signature series. It's a necklace wrought as conjoined hoops, set with twinned carnelian jewels, conjoined cosmic satellites and fires of the heart, but also a reminder that autumn flame is winter's glow.
The post is here. Wings's main page is here. This work obviously will never be duplicated exactly, but if the style speaks to your spirit, simply inquire via the site's Contact form; Wings can create a version uniquely your own. We got some very good news a couple of weeks ago, and so we were able to cover November's monthly expenses and some additional costs, like hay for the horses and and firewood for the cold weather already here. [We have had to delay the plumbing fixes yet again, because this local pandemic spike is just too dangerous to have outsiders in at close quarters now.] But there's still the process of figuring out this water/well-drilling problem, winter is here again today, and we need to make it out of this year alive and help others do the same. And since neither the drought nor the pandemic is going anywhere, we are still going to need consistent sales to make it through the whole winter (which, if the political and pandemic situations go sideways again — or, rather, still, will be bitter indeed for our communities), so shares of the site links are much appreciated.
