Oppressive haze.

Softer rain yesterday, and a lot less of it. Today, it's all heat and oppressive haze, with no real chance of more rain in the forecast, at least, for more than a week.

No answers for me for more than a week yet, either. The MRIs are over a week away; the surgeon's follow-up more than two weeks off yet. To be clear, none of knows for sure whether I'm going to need her services (and I hope not); even if I do, there's likely to be another lengthy and unpleasant stage first. But it's hard to deal with the drip-drip-drip of not knowing, while things seem to advance. It has me functioning (or not, more accurately) in my own oppressive haze of stress right now.

And there's paying for all of it. Next week's imaging is covered. Surgery, if needed, or any of the other costly treatment protocols? Not even a little bit. So, as always, we need SALES. That's it; that's all; that's everything right now. It all gets put aside against the possibility that I may have to have that very, very costly surgery and long-term treatment protocols both very soon.
