One of those long, long days where nothing goes the way you intend and everything takes far longer than it should. Stuck waiting for deliveries, one of which is now delayed indefinitely with no updates, because FedEx is terrible (and it's something we had to have and they're the only the shipper the seller uses, but unfortunately it's perishable and will likely be worthless at this rate). Then we had to go into town, and the colonizer nonsense that began this day from a few hundred feet overhead was echoed at the post office, up close and personal, with someone being abusive to staff (no, I did not stand there and let him do it unchallenged; what the hell do you take me for), and lo and behold, it turns out that they may actually be the same person, so . . . .

Anyway, we got home very late, by which time the clouds were back. Most of them, of course, aren't actually real clouds; they're contrails, some of them from colonizers openly violating the MOU (and buzzing our house and land, like this morning, AGAIN), and sucking all the moisture out of the sky, thereby deepening the drought. It's getting up to 45 every day now, and everything's melting: mud everywhere, but if we don't get snow again very shortly, it'll be dry all too soon.

And I'm getting to everything incredibly late, because of everything else that took up the rest of the day. As I said, my mind is tired, my body is tired, both are sore, and still, I need to bring in one sale a week to break even. Still trying to have that new cuff posted by tonight, and a new necklace tonight, too, but it might have to be tomorrow; depends on how efficiently I get everything else done tonight.
