Heavy weather on the way.

It looks benign now, but there's heavy weather on the way. We may not get six inches in 24 hours, as they're forecasting currently, but we'll get something out of it. At the moment, it's still too warm for snow, so it will likely start as freezing rain.

And if what's starting out there now is any indication, the winds are going to be brutal.

Meanwhile, heavy expenses coming up this week: medical for me, and a vet visit for Cobie, the injured chicken, tomorrow. She's doing as fine as possible under the circumstances; no pain as long as she's sitting. But she can't use the right leg, and we need to see if that can be fixed (or, failing that, if she's still getting more joy out of life than not, which she seems to be doing so far, but we need a professional opinion). I have no idea how much that's going to run.  Just the farm call is $75 +tax, IIRC, and I don't have any idea what he's going to wind up doing tomorrow. And it will still be several orders of magnitude cheaper than what I'll be shelling out for my own medical care this week.

I need to make some sales.

And, of course, I'm now behind two weeks on them already, because as always, I still need to bring in one sale a week for us to break even, and I haven't managed that since three weeks ago. I did get Wings's new ring posted the other day, but more importantly, I got that incredible new collar-style necklace up, here, and you need to see it, all of it, all of the photos of all five pendants and the beads. It's extraordinary, and it's looking for its home. And still, with luck, I might have the new cuff and pendant posted later today, and possibly the new earrings, too, all available for immediate purchase.
