It's a real old-fashioned snowstorm now.

Enlarge that, and you'll see how fierce the wind is. Ground blizzard plus regular blizzard, although in that shot you only really see it whipping the snow off the piles of firewood.

The direction of the storm has changed; now it's snow driving in hard, heavy, and horizontal from the northeast. The temperature is steadily dropping: from a high of only 22 or so in late morning to 14 now, a little before 1:30 in the afternoon. The wind chill is only 3 degrees above zero already, and it's going to get down to around 10 below zero here tonight, at least (and colder yet tomorrow night).

Wings had an appointment at the clinic this morning, and I'm glad he's home, because white-out conditions had developed before he got back. I'm also hoping that we don't need to go anywhere tomorrow, until they have the roads plowed and sanded, because they're going to be a mess. Even so, I still need to push sales, because as always, I still need to bring in one sale a week for us to break even. At a minimum, I need to make enough in sales to cover the new ATV nonsense (and I still fail to see why they couldn't have found this problem when it was down there two weeks ago, but whatever). I did get Wings's new ring posted the other day, but more importantly, I got that incredible new collar-style necklace up, here, and you need to see it, all of it, all of the photos of all five pendants and the beads.
