That was early this morning. There's a lot more of it now.

For the moment, though, it seems to have stopped; the sun is doing its best to break through, and break up the clouds, although it's having more luck with the former than the latter. Supposedly, more is due this evening, and on into next week.

This is wet, heavy stuff, and it will soak into the earth. Of course, it'll also create mud. But I'll take that over the dusty, drought-driven wind any day of the week.

Meanwhile, I have to get caught up on so much right now. It's endless. Wings is upstairs sweeping off the deck, this after ploughing a path between house and studio and stable and chicken coop and clearing the driveway and gate area. It's beautiful, wonderful weather, but dealing with takes up so much time that we can't get to anything else.

For the moment, though we have new work! The bolo is done, and it's here, and it's fabulous. [It was also Sunday's featured work at The NDN Silver Blog.] There's another cuff (amethyst), plus a casual necklace and a bolo (both turquoise, in very different styles). I posted those a few nights ago, here and here. I also got Wings's newest ring posted a few weeks ago, and more importantly, I got that incredible new collar-style necklace up, here (and you need to see it, all of it, all of the photos of all five pendants and the beads). It's extraordinary, and it's looking for its home. I also got the last new cuff, pendant, and earrings posted two weeks ago, here; the pendant is sold, but the other two remain available for immediate purchase (and they're both ::wow::).
