One more storm that's passed us by.

That was a couple of hours ago. Now, it's just one more storm that's passed us by, gone around us on the south side.

Then again, that's what happened yesterday, too, and we would up with a nice rain after dark, so maybe we'll get lucky again tonight.

Wings has just returned from the shop; the tow guy has hauled the truck down there and Wings followed behind in the ancient Ford. [Okay, so it's younger than I am, but it's still old. I'm old.] The Ford needs a new solenoid, so every time he has to start it, I hold my breath and pray. But he made it there and back, and the mechanic said that he and his guys might even get to the RAM yet today, at least to check it out. If all goes well, he thinks it'll be done tomorrow, but of course that depends on whether it's just the hoses or it needs a whole new radiator [please not].

Thanks to a dear friend and a great sale, we'll be able to cover it, whichever it is. But I still have to bring in enough sales to let us prepay all of next year's quarterly taxes. And I have to do it all in the middle of this autoimmune flare, which is making walking spectacularly difficult, so I'm going to be slow and late with everything, including the fabulous new cuff that Wings finished two days ago and I haven't been able to get posted yet.
