Seems like it can only be a good thing.

Yeah, yeah, I know, I know; it's out of focus. The little dude moves too fast for the camera. But I knew I'd been hearing new birds the last few days, and sure enough, the warblers are back, for the first time in several years. This one's a yellow-rumped warbler, and if you click on the image, you'll see the little yellow patch in question.

I'm looking at this as a good omen, because as I say, they've been gone for years — essentially, as many years as this 500-year drought has deepened into a twelve-hundred-year one. Their return? Seems like it can only be a good thing.

And Spirit knows we need some good things now, because it's been a spectacularly awful week (awful spring, actually). The radiator leak, and no tellling what that's going to set us back; still no Rx; all the constant unrelenting pain: Every joint system in my body hurts from these damned winds, my hand and wrist are still bad, and there've been multiple dislocations since. I have too much to get done on the business front, beginning with bringing in enough sales to let us prepay all of next year's quarterly taxes. But I can't even get time to do basic blog posts, never mind chase sales, and I have absolutely no bandwidth left for anything and I just want to break things until they all match the way my bones and joints feel, which is shattered into a million tiny pieces. Of course, that's not allowed, so . . . .

Anyway, I'm not really feeling it, especially not so late in the day (when I've been trying to get to it all damn day, but no go), but here we are. All the links are listed below, so please share:
