It's all dirt.

This morning was all blue skies with puffy white clouds, just like the images in today's post at The NDN Silver Blog, over Pueblo Peak and Spoon Mountain, with the northern end of the range already getting dark gray rain.

Early afternoon? We got that. Yes, the diagonal gray lines in the sky are rain to the south. That brown at the horizon and below? It's all dirt. Dust. Driven on gale-force winds in a giant wall, blanketing everything. I was already wearing a mask outside anyway, given the off-the-charts tree pollen count right now. A good decision for other reasons, too, apparently.

Speaking of all dirt, still no progress on the tiller, partly because every time he goes to work on it, either the wind kicks up or the rain starts to fall. It's also been very, very cold most of today, and even now, not all that long before sunset, the winds are still going.

And, of course, this is so late because it's been one damn derailment after another, all day long. I'm behind on a lot more than just this, but I'm hoping to have two new pairs of earrings up yet tonight (I have the photos already; it's a question of having time to upload and write the descriptions and then do the viral post). These are part of the latest round of miniature concha earrings; he needed to make a pair for one of our dearest friends that resembled a pair already sold, and while he did that pair, he did a couple more, too.

And Spirit knows I still need to chase sales consistently. That means new works, existing works, whatever. I still need to pay off this monster bill this week, and right now, I can't. 

In the meantime, I've got too much to do offline here, including the garden , IF we can get the tiller running (this is Day 3 of trying, unsuccessfully). And I still need to bring in enough to cover everything on a regular basis anyway. All the links are listed below, so please share:
