Those are from yesterday, and he knows it doesn't take much to make me happy. And for a couple of days that started out so brilliantly sunny, they both turned very dark very fast, albeit in the best possible way — with rain. This month was born in the rain overnight, and we've just had a massive storm move through here the last hour (not that it's done; it's still raining, just not dangerously heavily and peppered with hail now).

We love the rain. But it's nice to have something to brighten up the day, too.

The only issue with the rain is the degree to which it slows down other things. We're not about to complain, of course; nothing but gratitude for this now after what the last six years have been. But it does mean that we're going to find ourselves slammed in trying to get done everything that needs doing over the next couple of weeks.

And the pressures don't ease off at all, of course. I will still have the truck repairs to pay for if the damned converter ever comes in, and now we need a part for the fridge that no one will ship. So I need to be chasing sales on every front. Later on today/tonight, I will have those two new pairs of earrings and the new necklace (it's extraordinary, and you want to see it, believe me). In the meantime, all the links are listed below, so please share:
