All right, finally:  the promised two new works by Wings.  I'm still not happy with the pendant photos, but this is the third try, and the studio lighting will not cooperate, and I'm out of time. Besides, both pieces are absolutely beautiful.

The first one is the pendant, shown above, and again here in more of a close-up:

It's incredible. It's called Eagle Carries the Medicine of Earth and Sky, and the whole thing is saw-cut, scored, and stamped freehand, with simple but powerful imagery that evokes Bald Eagle in his Thunderbird guise. It's set with an similarly extraordinary focal stone, bright sky-blue chrysocolla in orbicular malachite, looking like earth and water and sky, ribbons and ripples, waves and clouds. The second work is a ring, and it's a very simple, classic design, but also a very beautiful one:

It's called Sunlight On the Big River, and it's a very traditional plain silver band, but with some gorgeous details: heavy freehand hammer work all the way around it, with very lightly raised edges on either side to form gentle banks. The hammer strikes are deep, with heavy oxidation and a bright medium polish that looks like the Río running high and hard and fast. It's also sizeable at no charge.
