As you can see, yesterday's weather delivered a faint dusting to one of the more distant peaks. Here, not so much.

We had some lovely low-hanging dark clouds overhead and on all sides this morning, but I didn't get done with morning chores in time to get any photos, and by ten or so, they were gone. As in virtually all gone. Now we're left with brilliant sun, with air still a good ten degrees too warm and far too dry for anyone's good.

Winter is not looking promising.

The constant variability in the weather without it actually settling into anything is hell on my joints, too. I'm already still gimpy from all the walking back and forth I did on Monday, and my hands are a mess; knees and feet are extremely painful, and so are my knuckles, mostly because they're all constantly slipping out of joint. On the plus side, Monday was also a remarkable sales day, which means that the pressure is now off for getting us through the coming weeks. However, this year has been so slow that we're way behind on everything, including prepaying next year's taxes [that's a zero; a big fat zero]. Which means that I need to continue to bring in consistent sales to get that covered. Once that's handled, I can rest a little. 

So I'll still be pushing sales, if not with quite the same sense of desperation that has had me in a death-grip for most of the year. But I need to continue to bring in enough to get the taxes off my desk once and for all, so that means we need shares.
