Ground blizzard.

That was just a few minutes ago. Still lots of dark stormclouds on the peaks, but all we have here is a ground blizzard [i.e., snow whipped up off surfaces by fierce, battering winds].

A ground blizzard doesn't do anything for the land; it just makes everything else miserable.

And it is miserable. Wind is the absolute worst condition for my illness, especially my joints, and they are all screaming at me now. No, nothing works. For me, high winds are kind of like hitting your own thumb with a hammer; no matter how bad the pain was before you started, it feels so much better once you stop. Except that I have no control over them, and it sucks to be at their mercy.

Of course, these temps also mean that the ground cover is now ice, and I'm spinning my wheels both literally and metaphorically at this point. My Patreon for the month is down ~$250 at the moment [that's how much it was short on yesterday's payout for November]. We've had one sale [for which we are profoundly grateful] since the official T-week beginning of the commercial holiday season, which normally constitute the busiest shopping days of the year. In an average year, we'd make at least a few sales over this period, but so far, not one. Then again, we haven't brought in anywhere nearly enough sales all year. It's grim. And I don't know what more I can do. My pain levels are completely out of control right now; I'm also back to barely being able to walk most of the time. I'm pushing myself as hard as I can, but nothing's working, least of all my body and brain.

I need to bring in at least $6K in sales between now and year's end to cover tax prepayments. Normally, I would've been paying them quarterly, but not this year; we haven't had enough sales to do that, and I'm behind on everything else, too, all while my illness worsens seemingly by the day. Until those prepayments are off my desk, I can't relax, can't do anything other than push to get them covered. I really need help. As always, all the links are listed below, and sales are the most important:
