We are so grateful.

The gravel is here, at least a full day early: two loads, first thing this morning. Chris came by before they got here, and he told us that because of the weather (it was snowing right then, heavy, wet flakes, with more now and rain forecast for later), the guys wouldn't be out today. But the snow ended, the air warmed enough to melt it all, and the guys showed up after all, a couple of hours ago. I told them he'd said not to expect them, and they said that as long as the weather holds, they were going to get as far as they could for us, and hopefully save us the expense of an extra cleanout.

Right now, the weather's holding. They've unloaded the pipes, and they're digging the main trench and laying as they go.

And it's only happening thanks to the drastically reduced estimate and the success of this weekend's flash sale; we'll be able to write a check for the full thing when it's done. And we're supposed to have another four days of precipitation, too.

We are so grateful.

And so it's already another chaotically busy week, and I'm guessing that's not going to change between now and the weekend. And we will still need to make consistent sales, even without such inducements as this weekend's, because there are still taxes ahead, and then there's the need, growing more urgent by the day, to replace my laptop, and eventually a wheelchair so that a trip to the post office or the store doesn't wipe out my ability to function for the ensuing week. It's . . . a lot.

So go look; there's phenomenal work on the site, both new and less so. Even with the sales from this weekend, there's still A LOT of incredible work available. And as always, all the regular links are listed below, with sales, as always, being the most important:

  • Sales here
  • Testimonials here
  • Amazon wishlist here ( we'll always need the liquid soaps that I can't get here, the dog treats for the monsters, and Amazon and Lowe's cards [the Lowe's cards are probably going to have to go on a new fridge, so I'm hoarding them]);
  • Patreon here;
  • Ko-fi here.

After such a grim 2023, we really need to get this year moving onto a better footing, so please share all of the links.
