Invaders. There's a lot of that going around these days.

The one on the left seems so indignant that I would presume to take his photo. The other two don't even care.

It's hot again, around ninety, and the air is impossibly dry. You'd never know we're projected to get at least fifteen days straight of rain, the first few coming not in a monsoonal pattern, but from the fringes of Beryl. Whatever; we'll take it, and it'll be a lot cooler and more comfortable.

At least we have a little breathing room as of yesterday; enough that I might call tomorrow and see how much my imaging is going to set us back. Might be able to schedule it; might not. Either way, just being able to breathe for a few days is a big deal right now.

Even so, the expenses from last year and the first half of this year broke us so badly that we're way behind on every single thing now. Generating income is all that matters at this point, which means sales are all that matters. Wings decided he was unhappy with the new cuff, so that will have to wait until he's redone it to his satisfaction; by then, he'll probably have a few new pairs of simple bezel-set gemstone earrings, too. But apart from recent sales and so forth, we are still way, WAY behind on this year, and I will probably need to make sales at a rate of at least two per week for the rest of the year for us to catch up [and that's just breaking even].
