So much new work.

That was this morning. Lots of soft, steady, soaking rain from around 9 PM onward almost to midday today. It was glorious.

Now, of course, it's clearing, just in time for the hottest part of the day, and add the humidity into that, and it's suffocating. It was 56 when we got up this morning, but well into the 70s now, and if this keeps up, we'll be well past 80 by 4:00. 

I've got so much to do today, and I've gotten a lot done, but it pales compared to the rest of the to-do list. First among them, of course, is sales, and I finally was able to get the earrings up last night, so I have 6 new pairs of silver-and-stone concha florals that I'll be sending viral on Twitter, bsky, and FB later. I hope. I also have two new cuffs, and if he gets the one he's currently working on done yet today, it'll be three that I hope will go up tonight. We'll see. 

There is so much new work. I'm having trouble keeping pace with his output these days, but I've got to do better, because the pressure from all of these immediate expenses is unrelenting. The truck pretty clearly will not be fixed in time for my medical stuff, because the damn part isn't even in yet, and it's been . . . what? three fucking weeks since we coughed up the first thousand dollars cash? I am not pleased. Add to that that we know it's going to be at least another grand for the labor, probably more; another grand for my own cancer screening scans coming up fast now in August. And it'll be at least $4K to take care of the permanent fix to the roof, materials and labor combined, and that will need to be done in September at the latest. The expenses from last year and the first half of this year broke us so badly that we're still way behind on everything. I have GOT to put a big chunk on our tax bill, which is weighing heavily on me constantly. [You wonder why I don't sleep? Like most of the last week? And last night, again? Apart from pain, that's one BIG reason.] 

Over the next day or so, I'm hoping to get the 4 Warrior Woman pins, the 6 pairs of silver and stone earrings, and the 3 new gemstone-bead pairs of earrings up [actually, the last three are up, just not sent viral on social media]. I had planned to do it last night, but I ran out of time. But there's already lots of new work on the site from just the last couple of weeks:
