One of his newest, coming soon. In theory, there will be another version with hematite in place of the [faux] pearls. Yes, they were sold as "faux",  but they are some of the nicest I've ever seen: solid, smooth, heavy, with a beautiful silvery-gray finish. The hematite version thus far looks otherwise the same, kind of a "light and shadow" pairing.

And yes, those are my rings in the shot. My hand slipped today [because my coordination is getting worse], the sharp edge of the door hit it, and it shoved my rings into the top of my ring finger so hard it cut it open, where it promptly bled endlessly. I've finally gotten the bleeding to stop, but it's going to hurt for a good long while.

And that happened because my illness is worsening. I've been adjusting my immunosuppressant dosages [that's chemo, for anyone wondering, and I'm taking it not for cancer but for autoimmune disease, but it's the same shit], because it's the only way I can feel marginally human, but also if you up it too much, then you feel like literal death, and that's where I've been all day today. It makes me clumsier than ever, and it makes work harder than ever, but here we fucking are. It literally feels like my body is breaking apart and dying around me. And the hell of it? Maybe it is. A lot of times there's no way to tell until it's too late to do anything. I'm so goddamn tired.

And the work is endless. I've got to bring in a bunch of sales, not least because we're unexpectedly having to shell out a small fortune in cash for hay this week, because the elk herd seemed to have developed opposable thumbs, and managed to take off the layers of tarp and all the tie-downs on Miika's giant bale, eat all of it, leave us one neat little slice in the middle, and lay out the tarp neatly on the side. Don't ask me; I have no idea how they managed it. It should have been impenetrable to anything with hooves only.

but here we are, and the hay's being delivered tomorrow, and that's HUGE chunk of cash I was not anticipating having to lay out right now. And aside from that, we just simply need to have a much better sales year overall, with fewer catastrophes outside our control, than the last two have presented us. And that means, just to break even, at least one sale per week [and we haven't made one yet in 2026, so we're already two full weeks behind, and we need to rectify that tonight, and then some]. To that end, links are here:
