Not much January left now.

There's only one kind of ice worth having, and that's it right there. Actually, there's snow under it; that's what fell off the hay barn roof, accumulated, melted, then froze solid. And melted. And froze. And melted. And froze. Over and over and over. It's still a foot deep or more on the far end.

There are patches of snow here and there all over the place, basically all those areas where Wings didn't bother plowing. Where he did plow, there's nothing left but grass and mud. Lots and lots of mud. As I keep saying, this is much more like the end of April than January.

Not much January left now, though, and I am so far behind on absolutely everything, and no end in sight. No, we could not get our labs done this week, in no small part because there just simply has not been time, so that gets bumped to next week. There's other stuff, too. I am overdue by about 3 years for every kind of mammogram and scan, plus thyroid imaging and liver even longer overdue. But none of that latter stuff gets done at all if I don't start bringing in some real income, and no sales is not gonna cut it.

Our floor for sales and breaking even is making a minimum of one sale per week for the year, and we're still more than a week in the hole now. I don't have enough hours in the day as it is, and heaven knows I don't have the bandwidth for anything more. Flare, progression, whatever, it doesn't matter. I've got to do something, but damned if I know what at this point. It's grim. Links are here:
