A moment of peace.

Pink sky tonight. It's actually the sunset's reflection off the clouds to the east, but it's a moment of peace all the same.

It's been an exhausting day, or more accurately, week. It's complicated by the fact that the spring winds are clearly already here, and there is literally no weather condition that does more harm to my joints than the winds. The pain is relentless, and nothing works. There's also the added problem of early allergies, because everything's pollinating, and that makes the pain worse, too.

The chemo finally tamped my inflammation markers down to what is probably the first time ever in my life that they've been "normal." But that has meant lowering the chemo dose [so that I don't feel my cells dying around me, very literally], and having it happen now? I wonder how many weeks I've got before I have to jack the dosage back up again. Probably not many.

Everything else is chaos, and it's partly why everything's late every night this week. There just are not enough hours in the day, there are too many demands on my time. And right now, I've got taxes to worry about, and other expenses, too, and I really need to spend this week pushing sales, but no luck with that thus far. I'm already under unspeakable pressure this year, never mind the need to make up for the last two terrible ones. Our floor for breaking even is making a minimum of one sale per week for the year, and we're now four weeks in the hole on that score. So we still have to bring in sales, and weekly. Links are here:

  • Sales here
  • Testimonials here
  • Amazon wishlist here [priorities are the LaminaSaver, because apparently Miika's out of it again; and the rugs, to replace those destroyed 2 years ago by the leachfield collapse and ensuing septic disaster];
  • Patreon here;
  • Ko-fi here.
And we do still need to make those regular weekly sales, so please share all of the links. We really do need to get this year onto a better footing than the last two, and so far, it's been impossibly grim.
