Last night, I promised you something amazing. Here it is: an extraordinary new piece from Wings: NDN Silver. i love this piece; it's close to my heart, no pun intended, for reasons that will become clear.
This is called From the Heart of the Light, and it really is something sui generis. I was privileged to play a small role in its creation; Wings asked me to choose the small coordinating cabochons that he wanted to create a rainbow-like effect, and he also asked me to choose the beads and help design the pattern for the bead strand. The heart is Hachita turquoise, fairly rare these days. The surrounding cabs are as follows: three rainbow moonstone; two amber; two coral; two carnelian; two garnet; two amethyst; two denim lapis lazuli; and one tiny jade seed cabochon at the very root, so to speak. The strand is composed of sterling silverplated rounds interspersed with large chatoyant moonstone rounds, smaller jade, Labradorite, and a pair of dark blue lapis lazuli rounds; tiny green turquoise rounds; and a pair of tiny faceted garnets. You can read the full description here.
Wings's main page is here. Inquiries via the site's Contact form. And, we really, really, REALLY need to make some sales this season, so shares of these and the other site links are much appreciated.
