It's #ThrowbackThursday at The NDN Silver Blog, with the final entry in a commission by a dear friend of nine related works from last winter, all created to embody the shapes and shades and symbolic motifs of our natural world here. This one, a manifestation of desert fire, holds lessons for us now about engaging with our world as it is, at once impossibly old and very new — to learn to thrive in a spiral of earth and flame and sky.
The post is here. Wings's main page is here. This work obviously will never be duplicated exactly, but if the style speaks to your spirit, simply inquire via the site's Contact form; Wings can create a version uniquely your own. And, as always, sales are vey much needed — in the first half of this month, I have to cover the chimney cleaners, the plumber, the Web site host, one of my autoimmune supplements, and vehicle insurance renewal, in additions to regular bills and and second-quarter taxes [this last urgent and due within the week], as well as lay the groundwork for paying for a new well come August) — so shares of the site links are much appreciated.
