Real trouble.

The trees are already yellowing. That's how bad this drought continues to be. We've lost one aspen entirely, half of another, and several others are partially gone. It's sprinkling now, but if next week's forecast for a whole week of monsoonal patterns doesn't pan out, we're in real trouble.

Meanwhile, I continue to be stymied in my quest to get someone to confirm that, yes, all my imaging shows that I am actually negative for IBC. They didn't even bother to send the images or the report to my own doctor, so I'm having to do it. I also can't get in to "see" her ("see" even then being telemedicine, not in person) for four weeks yet. So I may have to got back to Santa Fe the second week of July and throw more money at the surgeon's dismissive NP, and I'm not happy about it.

In addition to paying them for that, there were vet and farrier yesterday, chimney cleaners today, and vehicle insurance and quarterly taxes within the next two weeks, and of course all the usual monthly bills and expenses. And I have no idea how to cover it all, given that I just shelled out more than $1,700 cash three days ago on the imaging. I'm also down 3-4 Patreon patrons since May 1st, which puts a BIG dent in what we use to cover monthly bills. Real trouble, indeed.

But as I said, Wings will have several new pieces out soon, too, possibly as early as the end of this week: at least one major necklace posted last week here, and a minimum of four new Warrior Woman and three new Pueblo pins (those last three, with a very cool new twist). I posted the first two Pueblo pins last week; one has already sold, but you can see the other here. Seriously, go check out the necklace; it's incredible.
