I've been promising these for two days now: two new works by Wings.

Yes, I know; I've been promising these for two days now: two new works by Wings. It's the first two of a collection of three new Pueblo pins, one of his oldest, longest-running signature series . . . but these have a new twist. In each, the basic structure remains the same, the jeweled accent cabochon, too, but the traditional pine ladder is different: Instead of being stamped into the surface, these are crafted individually, freehand, and soldered into lace as an overlay.

The first of these two is shown above, set with fiery, sunny amber. It's called In the Light of a Red Willow Sun, and you can read its full description here.

This one is called Beneath Sacred Mountain Stars, with the ladder angled hurriedly against the wall and an aquamarine cabochon the icy refractive blue of pure stardust. You can read its full description here.
