How it's done.

It's a huge amount of work, but this is how it's done. That's Wings texturizing a piece yesterday, a special order. Hundreds of strikes to create that earthy surface area. When it's using a solid steel hammer that weights five pounds on its own? It's . . . a lot.

Everything else is a lot right now, too. I just paid the last two regular monthly bills, including the medical loan. So all of that is covered until September . . . but vet bills, firewood, food, gas, meds, etc.? I still have to find a way to cover all of that, too. Fortunately, I'm dropping one of the new meds, because it's been making my lupus symptoms worse, not better, and as miserable as I am now, I don't need anything that worsens it. So that's $55 I won't be paying next month; too late for this one, though. And of course, it all starts over with September 1st, so I need to be ready.

I'm on hiatus from everything except making sales, because the bills don't give a shit whether I can move or sleep or do anything or not. Which means that making sales has got to be my perpetual focus, and I can't do it alone. Wings has A LOT of new work, including one more new cuff I'll be posting today, so I'd be grateful to everyone who shares all of it, and of course, if you're in the market, keep us in mind for purchases. After paying our taxes the other night, I really do need to build up some reserves to get us just a tiny bit ahead of the eight-ball of bills.

I did get one of the new cuffs posted the other day, and yes, you DO want to go to the link on the site and look at all the photos; trust me on this.
