Not a cloud in the sky. Not one.

I know most people would love that, but frankly, for my birthday week? I'd much prefer clouds. Lots of them. Even better with a chance of snow.

No chance. It's going to be 20 degrees too warm, and all sun, all the time.

The pain, of course, is unrelenting, and that apparently will only get worse, not better. As though it's not enough to have lower spine, both hips, both knees, both feet, and both hands partially dislocated right now, with my dominant hand still subluxed in multiple places? Last night, as I was lying in bed doing literally nothing except hoping to fall asleep, my left elbow torqued itself out of place. That meant very little sleep all night, and even more limited functionality today. 

It also means everything takes me so much longer. I mean, everybody already knows that this year has been terrible on virtually every front, so much so that we're really up against it now. This year has been so slow that we're way behind on everything, including prepaying next year's taxes [that's a zero; a big fat zero]. I'm so much farther behind on everything, even more than I usually am: pushing sales, paperwork, housework, you name it. I did at least get his two newest works up here the other night, so there's that. They're both amazing, but the turtle is something truly extraordinary. If I could sell that this week, I could quit worrying at least until November. 

Still. We have to make up a LOT of ground financially over the next three+ months. A LOT. And it's clear that, even if my dominant hand and wrist weren't functionally unuseable, I cannot maintain the pace or workload I have in years past. Half the time I can hardly walk, because my hips, knees, and feet are the same situation.
