So much work to do.

The light is back to normal now; the world is gold again. And there is so much work to do.

Wings is working on a last time-sensitive commission today, so that it can ship on Monday. I'm trying to get caught up on things here, and get a jump on the week to come. I'd like to be able to enjoy next Friday, rather than have to spend it trying to get out from under this avalanche. I need to make at least a couple of sales this coming week, and that means both focusing on it and not being derailed by other things.

The pain, of course, is unrelenting, and that apparently will only get worse, not better. It also means everything takes me so much longer. I mean, everybody already knows that this year has been terrible on virtually every front, so much so that we're really up against it now. This year has been so slow that we're way behind on everything, including prepaying next year's taxes [that's a zero; a big fat zero]. I'm so much farther behind on everything, even more than I usually am: pushing sales, paperwork, housework, you name it. I did at least get his two newest works up here two nights ago, so there's that. They're both amazing, but the turtle is something truly extraordinary.

Still. We have to make up a LOT of ground financially over the next three+ months. A LOT. And it's clear that, even if my dominant hand and wrist weren't functionally unuseable, I cannot maintain the pace or workload I have in years past. Half the time I can hardly walk, because my hips, knees, and feet are the same situation.
