Now posted at The NDN Silver Blog, it's a Monday Photo Meditation for the peaks' first real snow of the season, and the absence of even a hard freeze at their feet. It's a contemplation of historical patterns now seemingly relegated to the past, and of the prospect that all too soon, the chill of the season's first snow will be a metaphorical one that marks only its haunting absence.
