This day . . . .

First, it was dealing with the theft of our debit card data. We had to call it in, then go into town to the bank to file the affidavit and sign, etc., etc. The we have to wait from the claw OUR MONEY BACK.

I am so fed up. We don't use our card at sketchy places, IRL or online. Somebody either stole it outright, or somebody got hacked; either way, I guarantee you that it'll be like it was 3 years ago, and we'll find out that a ton of local folks had the same thing happen. But I am pissed; we didn't have time to waste two days on this now, nor do we have the ability to lose that kind of scratch, especially right now.

Anyway, there was that, and a bunch of other things, and so ONCE AGAIN I'm only now getting to my work, which, I should point out, is OUR work, what pays the bills, but it's always lowest priority for seemingly everyone and everything. I'm fucking tired, and I'm fed up. Oh, and of course, snowclouds this morning notwithstanding, there is no snow, and no real cold, and no winter, either.

We were blessed with a really good sale last week, so the pressure to cover immediate things would have been off in a few days when the payment clears, were it not for the thieves that shoved our account into negatives. But even aside from that bullshit, there's still all the rest, all the stuff we couldn't cover all year because of one catastrophe after another, the taxes that still need to be prepaid, all the January bills that will be here before we know it [which include truck insurance and a whole bunch of business-related expenses that come due once a year, but total well into four figures]. So we still need to make the equivalent of a sale a day now, on average. And he has so much new work!  I'm hoping to pull another late night to get five of them up yet. yeah, I know, I shouldn't, but it has to be done, because the last two years have all but killed us financially, and we're almost out of year.
