It's #TBT at The NDN Silver Blog, with a work from just over two years ago that fits with the week's other features, one that was not a commission but a gift for a family member. It's a spiraling tribute to ancient materials and old ways, one that, like the heartline so prevalent in indigenous carvings from this part of Turtle Island, manifests as a means of restoring the fire — of prophecy, of existence, of life itself.
