Black skies today. And I mean really black some of the time; they looked like what we used to get at the heart of the summer monsoon season. It's weird: summer monsoonal patterns  with winter's cold, all in spring when it should be mostly 55 and sunny.

Can't have anything normal anymore, I guess. 

So FB locked me out again last night; today that little bit of weather that we actually got also knocked out our power for about three hours. The last two days, I've had huge to-do lists and accomplished exactly none of them. The one good thing to happen today is that a good friend stopped by to pick up a buckle he commissioned from Wings, so we got to see him, and we also got to see the photos and videos of the wolf pup during his vet volunteer session today. The wolf pup was a very verbal little dude, and not happy about losing what he no doubt regarded as essential parts, but he was beautiful and adorable.

At least we've made a couple of sales in the last week, so there's that. I just can't get any time to do my work. Because all the work has to get done: the housework, the paperwork [including some bureaucratic bullshit that we shouldn't be having to deal with, but the state is nothing if not venal], the sales work, everything. And everything still has to get paid, and after paying out taxes in cash, in full, and now this past week's costs? We've got to recover a lot of that if we're going to make it through the year. And we've got to maintain it, because we've also got big costs [the side exterior door, for one; the flue cleanings for another; and a set of tires for the truck for a third] immediately ahead. But I have got to get us caught up on this awful year in terms of sales. Two new pairs of earrings going up hopefully later tonight [::sigh:: no, they're STILL not up, because see above], and there's a ton of newish work on the site. To that end, links are here:
